Carnitor® Journal Advertising

This is one of my favorite pieces. My client is a pharmaceutical company with a drug called Carnitor®. Carnitor is used to treat metabolic disorders in children. Unfortunately the disorder often presents as much more common sicknesses. The ad was based on the fact that all doctores are taught in Medical School, "When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras." Since in this case it is the Zebra they are looking for, we used the zebra illustration to catch the attention of the reader. The zebra was illustrated by Chris Kubiak, an extremely talented artist that I am lucky enough to be able to work with from time to time.
